Enjoy a Perfect Getaway In Amazing Seacrest Beach
If you prefer quiet yet fun beach vacations, you will be charmed by the tranquility of Seacrest Beach. Located on the eastern end of the scenic 30A corridor, Seacrest Beach is tucked between Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach, along the pristine beaches of South Walton in the northwest part of Florida.
Seacrest Beach, was developed by Doodle Harris in 1996. This majestically master-planned beach community is built around one of the largest and most famous pools along Scenic Highway 30A. The 12,000 square foot Lagoon Pool has adult pools, 2 lap pools and kiddie pools, all incorporated into one perfect design, which the developers ingeniously built to look “hidden” in the expansive neighborhood of Seacrest Beach. It seems impossible to hide a 12,000 sq. ft. pool, but they somehow pulled it off!
The eclectic mix of homes in Seacrest Beach range from classic Florida beach homes to brand new cottage style vacation houses. Seacrest Beach is highly natural and mostly residential, making it the perfect refuge of peace and relaxation away from the stress of the city.
Seacrest Beach is close to everything, yet still maintains its relaxed and tranquil atmosphere. Biking and flipflops are the most popular mode of transportation here via the walking path surrounding the Seacrest Beach subdivision.
Out of the four condominiums in Seacrest Beach, two have commercial businesses on the first level which provide guests and residents boutique shopping, restaurants, banking, and much more within just a few minutes walk.
Since Seacrest Beach is nestled conveniently in between Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach, and Camp Creek Lake, residents can also enjoy a quick walk to the activities and thriving businesses in Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach, and Camp Creek Lake, which makes Seacrest Beach an ideal location for vacation homes and investment properties.
Swimming, kayaking, fishing, golfing, and just hanging out at the beach are the most popular forms of recreation in Seacrest Beach. There’s also the nearby Camp Creek Lake, one of the many rare coastal dune lakes in South Walton, where you can go hiking and birding.
Seacrest Beach’s town center called the “Village of South Walton” features restaurants, a convenience store, and cute shops.
If you have children, they will definitely love splashing and playing barefoot at the bubbling fountains out front of Seacrest Beach. The Peddler’s Pavilion is a fun place where kids can splash around, people can rent bikes, and everyone can enjoy a nice selection of food as well as a great shopping experience. You can choose from a unique selection of restaurants like the 30A Bagels and Coffee, Peddler’s Pub, The Sweet Peddler Candy and Ice Cream, and many more.
You would also enjoy looking for Crabby Steve’s, which is South Walton’s “hidden” beach bar. Most locals are not even aware that it exists, but it is a great place along the beach to soak in some sun while enjoying delicious food and cold Crabby colada drinks while having the gulf views right off the beach.
For golf enthusiasts, you could enjoy a great game of golf at the nearby Camp Creek Golf Course. This golf course designed by Tom Fazio is quickly becoming the favorite of golfers of all skill levels in South Walton. It was recently named by Golf Weekly as one of Florida’s “Top 10 Courses You Can Play.”
If you are looking for relaxation, tranquility, and a dash of fun for your holidays, Seacrest Beach is the perfect fit for you.
