Camp Helen is a great place for kayaking, canoeing, swimming, fishing, biking, and picnicking. History tours are also provided the first Saturday of each month.

Enjoy a rare coastal dune lake at Deer Lake State Park! This state park offers a remarkable panorama of the dune lakes and a spectacular selection of flora and fauna that includes rare plants such as spoonflower, pitcher plants, grass-one, Curtiss and gulf coast lupine. You will also find a variety of migratory bird and butterfly species at Deer Lake.
Access to the beach for a picnic, swimming, and fishing is made easy by the boardwalk across the dunes.

Spring always brings a wide array of azaleas to Eden Gardens. And no matter what time of year you visit, you will most likely find something in bloom. This park holds plenty of large moss-covered live oaks, walking trails, and panoramic views of Tucker Bayou. But the main reason to visit Eden Gardens is the two-story Wesley house!
Guided tours of the Wesley house are available hourly Thursday through Monday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (including holidays).

Grayton Beach not only has spectacular beaches, but also a state park that offers fun outdoor activities for adults and children alike. Grayton Beach State Park is an expansive 2,000 acres of national treasure which proudly features activities such as hiking, camping with its full-facility campground, biking through the trails in the sand dunes and pine flatwoods, fishing with access to fresh and salt water, and many other activities!

As one of the most diverse natural eco-systems in the state, Topsail Hill State Preserve has to be seen to be appreciated. This park has more than three miles of pristine beaches and five dune lakes to be enjoyed. The park also has a small amphitheater that hosts many programs that feature interpretive talks about fauna and flora.
